Maybe she’s generalizing that snuggles with anyone, including Obi, is good – or maybe it was a fluke. We’ve been doing lots and lots of snuggling on a futon on the floor recently, as her activity has been severely curtailed after blowing out her knee in late Feb and surgery in March, and the futon is a nice break from the crate. (At most other times, they get along fine, but cuddling – no way). She’s quite sure that he (Obi) has cooties, and somewhat grumpily shifts away if he settles near her, or tells him off with a quick snark. Habi curled up back-to-back with a sleepy Obi, and stayed pressed spine-to-spine for several minutes. That said – a miracle happened last night. I especially love the ones of two creatures cuddled up together, and have always wished – in vain – that our dogs would. LOL, what a day-brightener! So glad so many people have captured such poses, and your captions are perfect. We had just returned from an hour-and-a-half romp at the dog park, so Red Dog gave the (completely false) impression that she had matured and calmed down in her year with me. Red Dog quickly got over it and played happily with the foster until he had to leave. We both interpreted Red Dog’s response as, “No, you are not taking me back, I like it here.” To our great surprise, when Red Dog first recognized him she let loose a great big houndy bark – but not a friendly bark. The foster obviously had considerable affection for Red Dog and was delighted to see her again. He mentioned how much it means to the folks who work at the rescue organization, especially those who work on the administrative side, to receive pictures letting them know that their efforts have yielded good results. Speaking of pictures, we met with Red Dog’s foster this weekend. Clearly our dogs need to work on their silly sleeping poses! Trisha thanks so much for collecting and posting those wonderful sleeping dog pictures. Here’s round one for today: Clockwise, from top left: Pavlov (with bowl), No names (sorry), but don’t miss that there are 2 dogs here!, Brodie & Sally looking like an ad for a couch, Pickle deep in dreamland, Jules in the dog bed 2 sizes too small and Atlas, in the sleeping position that, based on the photos sent, most delights us all. If not, know that just looking at your dog in slumber made me seriously happy, not to mention that you cared so much to take the time to send in a photo. If you don’t see the one you sent in today, it might appear in the second round. I can’t possibly post them all, but I’m so grateful to everyone who sent one in that I’ve decided to post some today, wait a while, and post the rest of the best later.Īpologies, of course, for not being able to post all of them. Little did I know that we’d get over 100 photos of dogs, sleeping in every imaginable position. Sleeping Dogs Wallpapers ,Images ,Backgrounds ,Photos and Pictures In 4k 5k 8k HD Quality for Computers, Laptops, Tablets and Phones. I thought I’d get some interesting photographs from you all when I asked for sweet/amusing/ridiculous images of your sleeping dogs. Well, this is about as much fun as I’ve had in weeks.
